Ian Royes

Finance kid who ships.

I built my university’s ad sales from zero to $30,000 a semester, run a production company, and ship software — my personal-finance app is live. I’m looking for a founder’s associate seat at a seed-stage company.

Built a university’s ad revenue from nothing

As SGA Director of Revenue at Oakwood, I launched the university newspaper, sold the sponsorships myself, negotiated the deals, and built the forecasting models behind them. It went from no revenue line at all to more than $30,000 a semester.

SpendType — a personal-finance app in production

A spending-personality assessment that turns into a real profile and habit tracker. I designed it, built it, and shipped it. It’s the clearest evidence that I close the loop from idea to live product without being told how.

Royz Media Group LLC

My multimedia production company. Real clients, real invoices, real P&L — client acquisition, budgeting, and the ROI analytics that tell me which work is actually worth taking.

What I’m looking for

A founder’s associate seat at a company that just started hiring.

The role

Founder’s associate, chief of staff, or BizOps. The generalist who does revenue ops, modeling, and whatever is on fire that week.

Availability

Available to start full time immediately. I would take a leave of absence from Oakwood for the right role.

Stage

Seed or Series A, small team, where one person wearing four hats is the point rather than a problem.

Most people who can build the model can’t ship the product. I do both, and I’d rather do them somewhere small.

Also shipped All live, all mine
